Comas
Comas
When you hear Comas you'll know that their choice of name was no mere coincidence. (Translating from Irish/ Gaelic as POWER) and power is exactly what this band is about. Depicting their own driving power coupled with a fine sensitivity for the inner strands of magic inherent in Irish music.
Here, their Fiddle player, Aidan Burke comes into his own, delving deep into his Irish roots to pluck out a pure sound that transcends time and place guaranteed to touch any lover of Celtic music. Aidan's dexterity is evenly matched by the awesome talents of Sylvain Barou (flutes, pipes), Philip Masure (Guitar) and Jackie Moran (percussion). Comas are a band firmly rooted in Irish music, but with enough space to allow original compositions. Open to new influences, but with a respectful eye on the past is what brings Comas to the fore-front of what traditional music is about today. (Text by the Irish writer/singer Tom Acton)
Frankie Gavin & De Dannan
Frankie Gavin is widely considered to be the world's greatest Irish fiddle player while in 2010 he also entered the Guinness World Records as the fastest fiddle player in the world.

The band De Dannan has been responsible over many years for bringing some of Ireland's immensely talented traditional performers to the world stage and in the word's of Rob Frabroni, producer of 'The Last Waltz'; 'this line up tops them all.'
The band has performed everywhere from The White House & U.S. Capitol Building to Beijing Opera House, and in addition has performed and recorded with a long list of musical luminaries which includes The Rolling Stones. The band has also performed for a whole host of dignitaries which includes three U.S. Presidents.

'Electrifying' is an adjective that's too often used to describe certain performance, but this is one instance where it's absolutely unavoidable. If you've never been lucky enough to see Frankie Gavin & De Dannan perform live, prepare to be... shocked.
Hounds of Finn
Hounds of Finn is a high-energy Irish musical entity forged from the roots of Celtic and American traditions. Based in St. Paul, MN, the Hounds perform Irish folk-rock and roots music from around the world, along with our own original material—topped off with a sprinkling of traditional Irish and Scottish tunes. The Hounds have been performing in and around the Minnesota music scene since 2007 and currently have two finished CD's and a DVD. They are now back at it and working on CD #3!
The Brazen Heads
Tim Sadow, Roy Plisko, Liam Mackey and Michael Ryan

While based in Boston in the '90s, Liam and the band were featured in the Irish Language Film "Out of Ireland," which highlighted Irish immigrants living and working in the USA. Boston Mayor Tom Menino, also chose the band as the featured Irish act for multiple political fundraisers, which included events in New York and Washington, D.C. for the Kennedy family and the F.B.I. As if that wasn't enough, the band managed to keep busy when not touring by holding down a three-year residency in the famous Black Rose Pub in Boston, entertaining four to five day/nights a week to standing-room-only audiences.

Currently based out of Arizona, the high impact line-up of guitar, bass, drums, fiddle, keyboards and Irish whistles has seen no shortage of demand. Since releasing their 2008 & 2009 CD's, as well as self-producing several full-length music videos, they are now playing dates at festivals around the country.
The Clancy Legacy
The Clancy Legacy
Aoife Clancy, Robbie O'Connell and Donal Clancy first performed together at a workshop called "The Clancy Legacy" during the Irish Arts week in East Durham, NY in July 2006. It was the first time they had performed together in that combination and the show was extremely well received. They immediately began to receive offers to do other concerts together and The Clancy Legacy was born.
The Elders
"Arse Kicking Music from the Heartland"

When The Elders formed in 1998, they were not new-comers to the American music scene. All were well known veteran musicians having played in numerous recording and touring bands before forming The Elders – hence the name.

It didn't take long to establish themselves as one of the top Celtic-Rock groups in North America, quickly gaining critical attention in prestigious publications such as Paste Magazine, Chicago Sun-Times, Kansas City Star, Music Row Magazine, Goldmine Magazine, Folk & Acoustic Music Exchange, and many more.

The group was able to take advantage of their rather diverse collective musical past, employing a variety of instruments including banjo, accordion, mandolin, fiddle, piano, guitars & drums. The result is a skillful mix of Celtic folk pop augmented with amped-up Americana roots rock - a cross-pollination of elements that is high octane and progressive, yet rooted in tradition.

Their music features powerful vocals, blazing instrumentals and song writing that is unaffected by fads, trends and the giant maw of mind-numbing commercialism. Their songs are mystical, comical, political and cultural, while covering a wide variety of topics such as poverty, civil war, family bonds, spirituality, love and friendship. They tell stories of people, places and events - some recent, some distant, some real and some imagined.
The Fighting Jamesons
The Fighting Jamesons deliver a traditional style of music with an aggressive and energetic modern-day approach. Forming in 2010, The Fighting Jamesons quickly gained a strong presence on the East Coast. They've shared the stage with legendary Irish rock acts such as Dropkick Murphys, The Saw Doctors, and Young Dubliners. In November of 2011 the band released their self-titled debut album, produced and engineered by Capital Records recording artist Mark Padgett (Mae).
The Young Dubliners: Saints and Sinners
The Young Dubliners are excited for the release of Saints and Sinners, their second album on 429 Records--and first batch of original material since 2005's critically acclaimed Real World. After taking an exciting retro, rootsy labor of love detour to give a shout out to the masters of Irish song past and present on their 2007 429 Records debut "With All Due Respect, The Irish Sessions", the Young Dubliners drew inspiration from the trials and tribulations of the past few years on the road where they have encountered their share of, to borrow from an Irish proverb, "poets and patriots, saints and sinners", for the new album.

Seamlessly blending their rock and Celtic influences into a high energy, anthemic and lyrically poignant mix, the band whose lineup since 2002 includes co-founder Keith Roberts (vocals, guitar), fellow Dubliner Brendan Holmes (bass, vocals), American-born members Bob Boulding (guitar, vocals), Chas Waltz (violin, keyboards, harp, mandolin, vocals) and Dave Ingraham (drums, percussion)--jumps energetically from ballad to barn burner, documenting as they go the vibrant yet chaotic world they find themselves in. From edgy political tunes to the travails of life in an internationally touring band, Saints and Sinners chronicles and tackles it all with joy, wit, enthusiasm and a profound belief that things can get better. They're joined once again by Uillean pipe and pennywhistle master Eric Rigler, famed for his film work on the Titanic and Braveheart soundtracks, who has appeared on the bands last three albums and is a regular touring member.
